Make a Snow Angel to Support the Starlight Children's Foundation

The makers of Curel moisturizers are issuing a challenge for the second year in a row to Canadians: to photograph yourself making a snow angel and upload it to http://www.curel.ca/. For every photo uploaded, Curel will donate one dollar to the Starlight Children's Foundation.

My niece Rachel Mangos (left) is a Starlight wish child. The day before her 4th birthday (nearly four years ago, but I remember it like yesterday) Rachel was diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia and began a long journey of treatment with her family by her side. In 2008 Starlight granted Rachel's wish to travel to Disney World with her family. Today, nearly two years after finishing treatment, Rachel and her family are happily celebrating this winter together as ambassadors of the Snow Angel program. You can celebrate alongside Starlight this winter too -- grab your snow pants and your camera and head outside from December 1st until March 31st to help lift the spirits of seriously ill children and their families this year.
