It seems like just yesterday that the Bambina and I took that Walk to Remember the first day of kindergarten. But a lot has changed since then. Back in September it was just the two of us. Now, the Bambino is along for the ride. Summer stretches before us and that means not having to rush to eat lunch and get there in time to stand in line with the Bambina's friends before the bell rings. It also means timing our outings around the little guy's feeding/sleeping/fussing schedule. Right now it's still a bit surreal, having two kids around, but thankfully, one of them is very good at entertaining herself while I clean the spit-up from the couch. And whenever I can't figure out whether it's a hungry cry or a tired cry, she pipes up helpfully, "I think he has a stomach ache." Nine times out of ten she's right.
